£500k revamp for family-run furniture firm

A FAMILY-run Nottingham shop, now in its fifth generation, is to undergo a £500,000 facelift.
-
Hopewells, in Huntingdon Street, on the edge of St Ann's, specialises in premium furniture, including sofas, dining tables and beds.
This year marks the business's 140th anniversary. Currently headed up by managing director Adam Hopewell, it was started by his great grandfather Frank in 1885, just a few hundred yards from the current location, and Adam's own daughter Kassie joined the business three years ago.
