Family rescued after getting stuck on peak

A FAMILY got stuck on an Eryri peak after going out walking in wintry conditions.
The incident happened on Pen Y Ole Wen on New Year's Eve.
The group got stuck trying to descend the mountain after a day out on the Carneddau.
They called for assistance ahead of a steep rock descent.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team was alerted and sent five members up the peak.
