Expect heavy to very heavy rains in south peninsular India: IMD

A fresh spell of heavy rainfall is expected in southern India as the southwest monsoon is likely to be active during 12-15 June, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
It warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall and isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Karnataka during 12-13 June and over Konkan & Goa during 13-15 June.
