TTK Prestige feels heat, plans comeback with strategic bets

Muted demand, heightened competition and compressing margins have dragged TTK Prestige stock down nearly 25% over the past year.

Recent investments are aimed at achieving double-digit revenue growth and restoring margin to the mid-teens, but the transition could be painful. Consolidated Ebitda margin hit a multi-quarter low of 6.6% in the June quarter while sales rose a mere 3.6%, primarily led by cookware. Margin pressure partly stems from ₹500 crore in planned expenditure over FY26-28, earmarked in Q4FY25. Out of this amount, ₹200 crore will be used for R&D, marketing, and brand-building, and the rest for expanding capacity and automating select product categories.
