Z3Partners to raise new fund

Z3Partners, a venture capital firm launched by Gautam Patel, co-founder of Zodius Capital, in 2019, is now back on the road to raise capital for its new fund, VCCircle has learnt.
The VC firm, which raised ₹550 crore (about $67.2 million then) to make the final close of its maiden fund, is now looking to raise a significantly larger corpus for its new fund.
Z3Partners' founder and managing partner Patel told VCCircle that the new fund, Z3Partners Tech Fund II, will target $100 million (about ₹872 crore) to back early-growth technology and digital startups.
He added that the firm plans to invest $5-8 million (about ₹44-70 crore) per company across eight to 10 portfolio firms, with follow-on capacity of up to $15 million for high-potential companies.
