Biocon bets on US, EU mkts for growth

Biocon Biologics Ltd, the biosimilars unit of biopharmaceutical giant Biocon and its largest revenue driver, expects to accelerate growth after posting a strong first quarter, said a top company executive.
The firm's revenue rose 18% year-on-year to ₹2,458 crore, and ebitda rose 36% on a like-for-like basis to ₹645 crore in the June quarter, while ebitda margin expanded to 26% during the quarter.
