Min Sood inspects night shelters amid cold wave

Delhi's Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood on Sunday inspected two night shelters in the city, Night Shelter Code 215 at Hanuman Mandir and Night Shelter Code 629 at Chabi Ganj (Women’s Wing), to review arrangements for homeless residents during the intensifying cold wave.
He said the government is working to ensure that no person is left to sleep outdoors in harsh weather.
“The Delhi government is committed to ensuring that no homeless person in the city is forced to spend the night out in the open during the harsh winter season,” he said.
