NEW DELHI: The intensifying trade conflict between the US and China is likely to open new opportunities for Indian exporters, with shipments to the American market expected to rise, trade experts said.

Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) President S C Ralhan said that the US decision to impose higher tariffs on Chinese goods would shift demand towards India, which exported goods worth $86 billion to the US in 2024-25. “We may gain from this escalation,” he noted.
