Himachal proposes CBSE affiliation for govt schools

In a landmark shift, Himachal Pradesh government has finalised the plan to get CBSE affiliation for 200 government schools as a step to transform the education sector for the holistic development of students and prepare them for future competitions and challenges.

Also from the upcoming session, the government is mulling contextualizing NCERT textbooks for classes 6 to 12 with local Himachal references to help children develop a sense of pride and belonging.
