Chief Minister Yadav launches mega public welfare campaign, 'Jan Kalyan Parv' to mark one year of his government

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched a mega public welfare campaign and a festival on Wednesday to mark Geeta Jayanti and the completion of his one-year term in office.

At the state-level event of the launching ceremony of the campaign in Bhopal, the Guinness World Record for the largest chanting of 'Shreemad Bhagavad Gita' shlokas in unison by thousands of acharyas to celebrate the international Geeta Mahotsava.

Speaking at the event, CM Yadav highlighted the global reverence for the Shreemad Bhagavad Gita, stating that it is the most searched religious text on Google. The Gita serves as a guide to life, offering teachings on duty, devotion, and peace, he said.
