ASSERBY: Highly politicized Vice Ganda has enriched his comedy acts with satirical comments on government and the present-day way of life.
The last stand-up comedy actress who engaged (enraged) the public in the art of satire is Tessie Tomas, essaying an imeldific role as Meldita in the late 80s and 1990s. Vice Ganda is the manner born. He has a college degree in Political Science from FEU.
Some sectors have called out President Bongbong Marcos to appoint Charo Santos-Concio as the new tourism secretary. The former ABS-CBN president is well equipped for the part, but only if she’s willing to join the government.
Charo is currently busy as an actress. On top of her continuing role in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, she’s also doing a new film with Boots Anson-Roa as co-actor under the direction of Brillante Mendoza.
