Transport operators told to prepare for 'Undas' exodus

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ordered all bus companies and transport operators to ensure cleanliness and comfort in their terminals and stations in anticipation of the influx of passengers for the All Saints' and All Souls' Days on Nov. 1 and 2.
LTFRB Chairman Vigor D. Mendoza II said he already instructed all regional directors of the agency to make sure that all transport companies will comply with the directive through the conduct of random and surprise inspections starting next week.
