SEC welcomes foreign firms with one-day registration
September 11, 2025
|Manila Bulletin
The Securities and Exchange Commission is making it easier for overseas investors to establish their presence in the Philippines by allowing corporations with foreign equity to incorporate or register their businesses in just one day.
In a bid to further streamline the registration process, the SEC has expanded the type of companies that may register through the One Day Submission and Electronic Registration of Companies (OneSEC) Zuper Easy Registration Online facility to include corporations with foreign equity.
“Streamlining the company registration process for foreign entities is a crucial component of our thrust to improve the ease of doing business in the country,” SEC Chairman Francis Lim said.
