Rayver Cruz: 'There's no shortcut to success'

“The Clash” returns to GMA Network with hosts Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz. Joining the judges' table are Lani Misalucha, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, and Christian Bautista.

During a media conference for the popular reality singing contest at the Luxent Hotel, Rayver offered his unsolicited advice to aspiring artists who wish to pursue a career in show business. The dancer-singer emphasized that success does not come easily and that there are no shortcuts to achieving it.
"Kung ano man ang pinupursue natin sa buhay, walang shortcut yan. Walang shortcut to success at pinaghihirapan yan. (Whatever we pursue in life, there is no shortcut. There is no shortcut to success, and it takes hard work.)"
