Megaworld eyes rapid expansion

Andrew Tan-led Megaworld Corp., the pioneer of the integrated township model in the Philippines, is projecting continued growth this year after reporting its third consecutive year of record earnings.
Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, Megaworld president and chief executive officer (CEO), said the property giant plans to accelerate its expansion through a P65-billion pipeline of new residential projects and a widening recurring income base.
Megaworld reported an 11-percent increase in net income to P24 billion for 2025, up from P21.7 billion a year earlier. Consolidated revenues rose five percent to approximately P86 billion, according to a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
The results underscored the resilience of the developer’s diversified portfolio, which spans office towers, luxury malls, and hotels across 37 townships.
