Mayor Along to give 10,000 tablets, 1,500 laptops to public schools

The Caloocan City Government announced on Thursday, Aug. 21, that it will provide more than 10,000 tablets and 1,500 laptops to the city's public schools as part of its continuing effort to enhance digital learning.
The gadgets will be turned over to the Schools Division Office (SDO) for allocation to teachers and learners in line with the city's push to strengthen the use of modern technology in classrooms.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan said the initiative is part of the city's commitment to digitalizing education and addressing the needs of its large student population.
