September 17, 2025
|Manila Bulletin
Marikina City Mayor Maan Teodoro said police outposts in key strategic areas will be reinstated to strengthen the city's crime prevention efforts.
During the city government's flag-raising ceremony on Sept. 8, Teodoro said the measure aims to reassure Marikeños that there is a government that truly cares for their safety and well-being.
She also directed police officers and personnel of the Office of the Public Safety and Security (OPSS) to be more proactive, stressing that their goal should not only be quick response but also active crime prevention.
