Jessica Sanchez returns to 'America's Got Talent'

Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez, who finished second on the popular singing contest 'American Idol' in 2012, made a triumphant return as a contestant on “America's Got Talent" on July 15.

Jessica, now 29, shared with the audience that she participated in the first season of "America's Got Talent" when she was a young girl. Although she only made it to the semifinals, the experience was devastating for her when she was eliminated. However, it motivated her to pursue singing even more, and now she is back to show what she can do.

"It took me 20 years, but I know exactly who I am and I know exactly what I want. I'm excited to be back," she told judge Simon Cowell during an audition for the show.

Jessica joyfully announced that she has embraced the journey of marriage and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child.
