Iloilo, Iloilo City log 2 monkeypox cases

Health authorities announced on Wednesday, May 28, that this city and the province of Iloilo have two confirmed monkeypox cases, following the release of laboratory results from the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa City.
Dr. Mary Ann Diaz, chief of the Iloilo City Health Office (ICHO), disclosed that the infected person is in stable condition.
Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenars-Quiñon, chief of the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO), said the infected person is recuperating at home.
