UST, National U break tie; De La Salle, winless FEU clash

- By MARK REY MONTEJO

University of Santo Tomas and National University stake their clean record in a marquee duel for the share of the early lead in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion in Manila Wednesday, Oct. 1.

After ending a decade-long, 16-game losing streak against the De La Salle Green Archers via a 93-84 win last weekend, the Growling Tigers seek to keep the momentum going in front of their fans against the equally determined Bulldogs.

Game is set at 4:30 p.m. with the victor breaking the 2-0 tie and joining Ateneo (3-0) at the helm.
