DigiPlus sets Sept. foray into bigger Brazil market

Tanco-led online gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is on track to launch its operations in Brazil this September-unlocking a gaming market twice the size of the Philippines.
"We are excited to bring world-class entertainment to new markets, bringing the strengths and expertise that we have established in the Philippines," said DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco.
He added that, "Our entry into Brazil is part of our strategic expansion program to usher DigiPlus' next phase of growth."
With a population of over 200 million and internet penetration of nearly 90 percent, Brazil is one of Latin America's fastestgrowing gaming markets, with an estimated market size of $4.6 billion for iGaming, based on a report from LCA Economic Consulting.
