CA receives PBBM's nomination of 7 new PH ambassadors

A ranking member of the Commission on Appointments (CA) in the House of Representatives bared on Wednesday, June 4 that President Marcos nominated seven new Philippine ambassadors.

CA Assistant Minority Leader Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel said: "The President issued the nominations on June 2, and all were formally received by the Commission on the same day."

The nominees were as follows:

Evangeline Ong Jimenez-Ducrocq, as Philippine permanent representative to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta, Indonesia;

Bernadette Therese Fernandez, as ambassador to South Korea;

Maria Teresa Almojuela, as ambassador to Germany;
