Billboard collapses in Malate due to Nando's strong winds

A large billboard in Malate, Manila collapsed due to strong winds brought by the southwest monsoon and intensified by Typhoon Nando on Tuesday, Sept. 23. No one was reported injured.
The Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MC-DRRMO) immediately responded to remove the collapsed billboard which was attached to a hotel structure.
According to initial reports, the billboard’s metal frame was dislodged and fell in front of the building. Authorities confirmed that no injuries or casualties were recorded.
Emergency personnel were quickly deployed to the area to clear debris and assess possible risks to nearby pedestrians and motorists.
