Belen crowned MVP anew; Nitura is ROY

National University's Bella Belen was crowned the best individual women's volleyball performer for the third time in UAAP Season 87 on Wednesday, May 14.
The 22-year-old Belen accumulated 96.226 statistical points (SPs) while Adamson's Shai Nitura amassed 74.259 SPs to place second. The latter, as expected, bagged the Rookie of the Year plum.
It will be a fitting exit for Belen in her final season, with the Lady Bulldogs aiming to close out the finals series against the De La Salle Lady Spikers in Game 2 which is being played at press time.
