500 Bilibid PDLs moved to Sablayan Prison

Five hundred Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City were transferred on Monday, Nov. 24, to the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF) in Oriental Mindoro.
The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said 13,781 PDLs at NBP have been transferred to various operating prison and penal farms (OPPFs) in preparation for the closure of NBP in 2028 for conversion into a government center.
