3 soldiers dead in Oriental Mindoro gunfight

A military officer and two enlisted personnel were killed in an encounter with the New People's Army in Baco, Oriental Mindoro on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The Philippine Army identified the casualties as Capt. Marky John O. Alberto, Corporal Charlie P. Legaspi, and Private Julian R. Oracion, members of the 14th Scout Ranger Company, First Scout Ranger Regiment.
