Smarten up! Pub's crackdown on what clothing it allows

A PUB in Greater Manchester has introduced a strict dress code, sparking a debate amongst customers.

The Millgate Pub on Ashton Road West in Failsworth took to social media to update its age policy and dress code - but not everyone was a fan.

Having recently reopened its doors following a major refurbishment, the J.W. Lees pub decided to make some changes starting immediately, including issuing rules on what clothing is now not allowed in the venue.

The post on Facebook read: "New pub, new rules dress code & age restriction.

"At the Millgate we're all about creating the best atmosphere & vibes for everyone - whether you're here for a family meal, a few pints with your mates or enjoying our quiz night.

"Starting immediately, after 7pm Thursday-Sunday we will be 21 over & strictly no tracksuits, man bags, or baseball hats. We want to maintain a relaxed & stylish vibe after the sun sets.
