RUBEN Amorim has challenged Manuel Ugarte to improve in training sessions amid concerns about his performances for United this season.

Ugarte got off to a mixed start in Manchester after his €50m (£42.3m) transfer, with a further €10m (£8.5m) in add-ons, from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024.
The midfielder was expected to improve after the appointment of Amorim. Ugarte played his best football under Amorim at Sporting Lisbon, but he's been unable to reproduce those levels so far at Old Trafford - he has made just two starts in the Premier League this season.
The 24-year-old has played just 346 minutes across 10 appearances (seven from the bench) in all competitions.
