Young runners raise £1,250 to help homeless

FLEET-FOOTED youngsters kept on running to raise funds to help tackle homelessness.

Clove Lumley and Toby Bettison, both eight and pupils at Bollington Cross Primary, covered almost 9km in aid of charity Shelter.

They ran from Bollington Viaduct via the Middlewood Way to Tesco, on Hibel Road, and back again so far raising around £1,250 for the charity.

Between them the fundraising pair have completed more than 100 Junior Park Runs but decided to step up the distance and help make a difference.
