An ode to our lost wonderful woodland

REETINGS my wonderful people. I found this poem buried in my old files today.

JESSOP'S WOOD

Imagine with me if you could

A childhood spent in JESSOP's Wood

Where trees grew tall and conkers lay

And kids like me could play - all day

Where swings swung out across the stream

And daring deeds made young girls scream

Life was simple life was good
