104 new homes plan faces opposition

PLANS for 104 homes have raised objections with one protester saying it 'poses serious and lasting threats to residents' wellbeing.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes has submitted proposals for a housing estate on agricultural land near Chelford railway station, off Knutsford Road.

The company says it will help Cheshire East Council meet housing targets, including 30 per cent of homes there being affordable and is sustainable development.

But at the time of writing nine public objections had been received.
