ERIK ten Hag came out fighting after steering Manchester United to an FA Cup final victory and told his Ineos bosses that if they don't want him he will go and win trophies with another club.

'This is what I do'-Erik comes out fighting

The Dutchman has won two trophies in two seasons at United but is still in danger of being sacked despite the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City, with teenagers Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo scoring the goals.

Ten Hag has overseen a dismal Premier League season that ended with United finishing eighth with a negative goal difference and although he insists Ineos have told him they want him to stay, they have also sounded out potential replacements.

The 54-year-old insisted he wasn't thinking about his future in the wake of a victory to savour but he also fired a strong message to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who watched on at Wembley and went down to the dressing rooms afterwards to congratulate the players and staff, claiming his United project was on track and that his own record showed he was a winner.
