Projects unite to celebrate success of Govt Fund UKSPF...

A CELEBRATION of 13 projects delivered in Charnwood due to support from the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) was held in Anstey recently.

The event took place in Anstey’s Jubilee Hall, which was one of the schemes chosen to receive UKSPF funding by Charnwood Borough Council, which secured more than £4 million to invest in communities, support local businesses and improve skills.

The Jubilee Hall was extended by Anstey Parish Council and now provides a second larger community hall for the local scout group and improved facilities for groups in the area.

Representatives from the borough council and the 13 projects gathered to celebrate the improvements delivered across the borough in places such as Shepshed, Birstall, Sileby, Mountsorrel and Loughborough, as well as Anstey.
