Teagan Kavan pitched a complete-game two-hitter and defending-champion Texas advanced to the championship series of the Women's College World Series, defeating Tennessee 4-0 in their second matchup of the day in Oklahoma City.

The second-seeded Longhorns (51-12), needing two wins against the seventh-seeded Volunteers (4912), accomplished the feat with a 5-2 win in the first game.
Texas makes its third consecutive appearance in the final series, where they will play either Alabama or Texas Tech.
Gavin Spiridonoff hit a decisive three-run homer in the sixth inning as Cal Poly advanced to its first super regional with a 5-2 victory over Saint Mary's to win the Los Angeles Regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Sunday.
