Despite the financial loss to Welsh football from the failure to qualify for the World Cup, if there is a silver lining it is that prospective Welsh fans will have saved thousands of pounds for obscenely priced match tickets, expensive air travel, overpriced accommodation and ultra-processed food with absurd US tipping expectations.

Then visa or Esta documents can be invalidated before or after arrival.

Assuming my social media activity will be trawled by the authorities, I would have as much chance of getting into the US as Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei carrying a drum of uranium ore.
