Prestigious capital date for talented Carmarthenshire pupils

CARMARTHENSHIRE Music Service's Côr Merched Sir Gâr have taken to the stage at London's Royal Albert Hall, performing to a packed audience as part of the prestigious National Music for Youth Proms.

The ensemble earned their invitation to this national celebration of young musical talent following a stellar performance at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, in July.

Conducted by Nia Clwyd, the choir brings together talented secondary-school pupils from across Carmarthenshire.
