Plea to help fund trip of a lifetime for special pupils

AN APPEAL to help fund nine pupils at Llanelli’s special school Ysgol Heol Goffa to go skiing in Italy in March is going from strength to strength.

The school’s skiing programme was launched more than 30 years ago and has led to phenomenal confidence-building in pupils, as well as thrills and successes at the Special Olympics, and British and World Winter Games.

Ysgol Heol Goffa supports children and young people aged between three and 19 with a wide range of additional learning needs, including profound and multiple learning needs, severe learning delay, autism, physical disabilities and complex learning difficulties.
