CARDIFF SWAP AMMANFORD TIE
July 09, 2025
|Llanelli Star
AMMANFORD have a potential money-spinner on their hands after their Nathaniel MG Cup tie against Cardiff City was switched to The Rec.
-
The match will take place a week on Saturday (July 19).
It was originally meant to be held in the capital, but after discussions between the two clubs it has been agreed to move it to Ammanford.
Cardiff will send their under-21s to West Wales for the encounter.
Carmarthen Town, meanwhile, face Swansea City, with the Championship club also expected to field a team made up of young sters.
The two ties are set to provide excellent tests for both the Old Gold and Ammanford heading into the new JD Cymru South campaign, which will get under way just a week later.
