AMMANFORD made it two wins from their first three matches in the South Wales Premier Cricket League with an impressive 96-run victory at Usk.

Batting first, Ammanford got off to their best start for several seasons with an opening partnership of 138 between Glamorgan’s Tom Bevan and Owen Gruffudd.
Gruffudd went for 42, but it failed to stop Bevan from reaching his century inside 30 overs.
Bevan's departure for 109 did not stem the flow of runs. New signing Matthew Spoors (38) and Jac Kenchington (35) kept the scoreboard ticking as Ammanford posted a formidable total of 314-8 in their 50 overs.
Tamoor Zafar and Ollie Rayner both took three wickets for Usk.
Two early wickets from acting skipper Owen Davies quickly dented Usk’s hopes on a perfect batting track.
