Photo reunited with owners after 42 years - but how did it get there?

- By MEGAN BANNER

A MISSING wedding photo which was lost in a social club has found its way back to its owners after 42 years.

The Bronze Club in Wallasey opened its doors in 1946 and has since seen hundreds of members celebrate everything from birthdays and christenings to weddings and funerals.

Among them were the celebrations of Frank and Sue Hemer, from Wallasey, who tied the knot on June 8, 1983, and will celebrate their wedding anniversary in five days. On that day, a beautiful photo of the bride and groom was snapped - but for 42 years it has been missing.

That was until last Sunday, when the photo was uncovered while refurbishment work was ongoing inside The Bronze Club.
