'Workmen trashed our home'

A MUM says her home was “totally trashed” by workmen and that she is still dealing with the consequences months later.

Mum-of-six Kinsay Smith, from Wallasey, said she was thrilled when her landlord applied for a government grant to have wall insulation in her “cold and damp” house, after workmen knocked on the door offering their services in June.

The 42-year-old, who has lived in the property for 16 years, told the ECHO the grant was accepted and tradesmen began what Kinsay understood would be six weeks worth of work.
