Road closed after man seen on roof

A CITY centre street was closed for hours on Friday morning after a man was spotted on a roof.

Emergency services descended on Vauxhall Road in Vauxhall at around 8.05am yesterday, following reports of concern for the man's safety.
The road was closed and Merseyside Police said Blackstock Street was also closed while the incident was being dealt with.
A 34-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of causing public nuisance and criminal damage.
When the ECHO went to the scene, a man was spotted on the roof of Goodness Grill and Rotisserie.
