Reflection on horror, but also on hope

THIS festive season, I want to reflect on a year that has brought both pride and deep sorrow for our region.

This year has been testing for Merseyside. We marked the solemn anniversary of the Southport tragedy and saw the perpetrator face justice. Our thoughts remain with the victims, their families, and all whose lives were changed forever.
