WHO would have thought, all those years ago - 1962 to be precise - that Pete Best, the drummer with the Beatles, would be sacked.

- Pete Price

I went on the march to try and get him reinstated, as I was a massive fan, but to no avail.

They brought in Ringo Starr, who I am not a massive fan of.

I am now sitting in a basement in Mathew Street, across the road from the Cavern Club, talking to Pete's brother Roag, on my podcast who, with his partners, own the Liverpool Beatles Museum.

On November 20, they are opening something new and exciting in the same building. I will tell you more about that shortly.

There is so much history tied in with the Best family.

The boys' mum, Mona Best, owned the Casbah Coffee Club, which is still open to this day. This was one of the first venues where the Beatles performed in their early days.
