A MUM says her “faith in people has been restored” after an act of kindness by a stranger.

Louise Williams lost her purse while she was shopping on Sunday, and she rushed home to cancel all her cards - only to find that a kind stranger had posted the purse through her letterbox.

The 48-year-old, from Claughton Village in Wirral, checked her video doorbell footage to see if she could find the good Samaritan who helped her, and after she shared an image of the man on Facebook, within minutes the power of the internet had located him.
