LFC Foundation set to get £250k cash boost

LIVERPOOL'S official charity, the LFC Foundation, is set to benefit from a £250,000 fund that has been raised for a number of causes across the North West.
The newly-formed Legacie Foundation, from property developers Legacie, recently held a major fundraising event which brought in a quarter of a million pounds that will now be used to help a number of organisations across the region, including the LFC Foundation.
Alder Hey Children’s Charity is another who will see a boost from the event, which was hosted by former Cold Feet and the Fast Show actor John Thomson and saw a performance from The Lightning Seeds.
Liverpool's all-time leading marksman, Ian Rush, was in attendance alongside Matt Parish, the Foundation's chief executive.
John Morley, CEO of Liverpool-based Legacie, said: “Legacie has always committed to supporting those on our doorstep in need long before launching Legacie Foundation.
