Ex-councillor sent string of vile cards to former colleague

CRUDE MESSAGES AND INSULTS POSTED TO HER HOME ADDRESS
A FORMER Liverpool councillor sent a series of vile cards to a former colleague after they fell out over a licensing issue.
Between October 2023 and August this year, Gerard Woodhouse sent items in the post to Councillor Christine Banks in a campaign of harassment.
Former Labour councillor Woodhouse, 62, of Mayfair Close, pleaded guilty at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates’ Court yesterday. He will be sentenced on December 9.
Woodhouse sent cards to the home address of Cllr Banks, herself a Labour councillor, which contained “insults and threats.”
