TRANMERE boss Andy Crosby says he was pleased with his side's character in Saturday's 3-3 comeback draw at Bromley after he felt the game was overshadowed by the officials.

Nathan Smith equalised for the visitors in the first half, before goals from Omari Patrick and Cameron Norman saw Rovers level the match from 3-1 down.

The draw ensures Tranmere’s winless run stretches to six games, with Crosby left frustrated due to the performance of referee James Oldham.

He said: “I'm pleased with the spirit of the team to come back from the scoreline they did, however, there were things happening that I've never seen before in my career.
