Black's 14-year spell set to end
March 19, 2025
|Liverpool Echo
LIVERPOOL'S director of communications, Susan Black, is to step down from her role at the end of the season.
Black has spent 14 years in senior roles across the football club.
Having arrived at the club in 2011, Black's role as director of communications at the Reds, where she has been primarily responsible for the club's communications, engagement and employee communication functions, has been added to by board roles with Liverpool FC Women, where she has served as executive director, as well as the LFC Foundation.
In 2014, Black created and led the club's first LFC Foundation Legends charity match to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough, something which has gone on to be a cornerstone of the Foundation's fundraising efforts in the years since.
