Ball will take a break before returning with the intention of getting back the world title he lost to Brandon Figueroa at the weekend.Ball lost his WBA featherweight title after a knockout defeat to Figueroa in front of his home crowd at the M&S Bank Arena on Saturday night.
The fight appeared to be heading for the scorecards when Figueroa produced a left-handed shot to drop the champion to the canvas in the 12th round.
